Job Summary:

The Site Supervisor – Civil Works is responsible for day-to-day supervision of all construction activities at the site, ensuring work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, safety standards, and within the planned schedule. The role requires close coordination with engineers, contractors, and labor teams to ensure quality and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Execution & Supervision

  • Supervise daily site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate and monitor the work of contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams.
  • Ensure availability of materials, manpower, and equipment for uninterrupted site work.

2. Quality Control

  • Inspect and verify quality of materials and workmanship.
  • Report any deviations or defects immediately to the Project Engineer / Manager.
  • Ensure proper curing, finishing, and alignment in all civil works.

3. Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce safety rules and ensure all workers follow PPE and HSE guidelines.
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks and report any incidents or near-misses.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the site.

4. Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with site engineers for technical instructions and work sequencing.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers for timely material delivery.
  • Report daily progress and issues to the Project Engineer / Manager.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain daily site diary including manpower, material consumption, and work progress.
  • Assist in preparing measurement sheets and material reconciliation reports.
  • Support preparation of progress reports and billing documents.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering / ITI in Civil or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3–8 years of site supervision experience in civil/construction projects.
  • Skills Required:
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction activities (RCC, finishing, masonry, etc.)
  • Ability to read drawings and execute work accordingly.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • Basic computer and reporting skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per year
