Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the life insurance domain to join a dynamic, fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of life insurance processes and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to deliver meaningful, value-driven business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements in the life insurance domain, covering areas like underwriting, claims, product configuration, and distribution.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories and functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure solution alignment with business goals.
  • Drive agile delivery processes, including participation in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and scrum ceremonies.
  • Analyze and solve problems with a data-driven and value-focused approach.
  • Prioritize business initiatives to ensure maximum ROI and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and understanding.
  • Manage competing priorities effectively and deliver under pressure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with life insurance domain expertise.
  • Deep knowledge of life insurance policy lifecycle: Underwriting, Claims, Product Setup, Distribution Channels, etc.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills across multiple formats: written, verbal, workshops, presentations.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle ambiguous or poorly-defined problems with structure and clarity.

Preferred:

  • Domain certifications in Life Insurance will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with insurance IT systems and digital transformation initiatives.
