Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a YouTube Platform Manager. This role involves content strategy development, audience engagement, performance analysis, and collaboration with content creators. The ideal candidate is a YouTube enthusiast with experience in content operations and a strong grasp of digital media and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Upload videos to the organization's YouTube channels, ensuring they are properly formatted, titled, tagged, and described.

  • Ensure that videos meet quality standards and adhere to YouTube's community guidelines.

  • Plan video release schedules and coordinate content calendars.

  • Optimize video titles, descriptions, and tags for search engine visibility and audience engagement.

  • Implement best practices for video thumbnails and metadata.

  • Monitor and respond to comments and engage with the YouTube audience.

  • Encourage user interaction and community building.

  • Analyze YouTube analytics to track key performance metrics.

  • Use data to make informed decisions about content and audience growth strategies.

  • Implement search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to enhance video rankings.

  • Explore and implement monetization options, such as ads, sponsorships, and merchandise.

  • Maintain documentation of content and operational processes.

  • Stay updated on YouTube policies and regulations.

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, especially YouTube, Facebook & Snapchat

  • Good organizational skills with experience in data and sheet management (Excel/Google Sheets)

  • Ability to multitask and coordinate across teams
