09 Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oil and Gas Operations Specialist with a minimum of 5 years in oil and gas operations. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in industry terminology and able to collaborate effectively with both onshore and offshore teams. This role requires a proactive approach to managing operations, ensuring data quality, and providing exceptional client support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the manager to understand leadership priorities and align operational plans accordingly.
- Work with the Data Transformation team to enhance data quality by providing technical oversight on data entered by vendor partners.
- Develop a strong understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and metrics, ensuring quality control and operational oversight of vendor operations.
- Address client issues on a daily basis, providing timely resolutions and participating in client calls.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for oil and gas operations, becoming the "Go-To" person for relevant states.
- Build expertise in S&P Global's internal systems and processes, as well as client-facing products related to US wells and production.
- Familiarity with SQL and process automation is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in oil and gas operations.
- Strong understanding of oil and gas terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Background in SQL and process automation is advantageous.
