DEV003 SAG Web Methods Admin

We are having an urgent opening for the position of SAG Web Methods Admin for a reputed company at the Navi Mumbai(Juinagar) location.

Overview

This system Admin must be experienced and hands-on with webMethods admin and Infrastructure work, should be able to install, configure, set up, test, and support webMethods, Universal Messaging, Scheduler, IS, AG, TC, etc., set up services in a large enterprise environment. This role will also be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of new or modified software products. The admin will work closely with all stakeholders across different states of the Software Development Life Cycle, creating high-level technical design and high-quality code with consistent patterns and strategies for reusability and team collaboration. The candidate would demonstrate accountability with a proactive learning and consultant mindset that can self-manage tasks, testing, and support all activities within product development.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Must be able to work on interface-level mapping, debugging, and day-to-day production support.
• Must have Windows and UNIX RHEL hands-on experience for any application support.
• Must be knowledgeable enough to understand application integration standpoint while performing admin role.
• Must have quick learning and grasping skills to digest client framework, architecture, and business.
• Should be able to execute the task immediately without any technical training, process training will be provided.
• The candidate is expected to work on multiple servers which are associated with the webMethods product.
• Knowledge and Experience in configuring any API management portal, Gateway, and API security.
• Knowledge of SOAP and REST APIs.
• Experience with databases like My SQL.
• Flexible to work with the onsite and offshore models.

• Experience to work with Business to Business (B2B) integrations through microservices and APIs
• SOA – Microservices, MVC with Open API specifications, Pub/Sub messaging patterns.
• OS – Windows and Linux web servers, Docker Containers.
• Services: Flow services, Java services, and Adapter services. Should have worked on Broker Publish/Subscribe and request/response model.
• Web Services: REST API, SOAP, JSON, XML, and XSD Schema.
• Protocols: HTTPS, FTPs, SFTP, SMTP.
• Tools & Practices – Azure DevOps, Azure API Management, Git, GitHub, VSCode, PostMan, SoapUI, Microsoft Visual Studio.

Additional Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Software Engineering, or other related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years of Software AG webMethods hands-on experience in wM admin and infrastructure roles.
• Minimum of 2 years developing products utilizing Azure services.
• Strong knowledge of service-oriented architecture.
• Strong grasp of security principles and how to apply them in product development.
• Experience working within agile scrum software development lifecycle methodology.
• Strong customer- and partner focus on providing technology services and support.
• Great verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to respond effectively in an environment with rapidly changing and competing priorities.
• Effective problem-solving and analytical skills displaying attention to detail.
