Job Title - Threat Intel Researcher

As Threat Intelligence Researcher, you will play a critical role in supporting our technology's threat intelligence operations. Your daily work will focus on staying up-to-date with global cyber threats, analyzing relevant blogs and resources, and converting emerging trends and attack techniques into actionable detection use cases for our platform. This is an entry-level role ideal for candidates passionate about learning in the cybersecurity field.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and read threat intelligence blogs, security news, and govt. advisories daily to stay informed about the latest cyber threats, malware campaigns, and attacker techniques.

Maintain the Threat Intel Repository, Update and Validate the threat intel database maintained by us.

Create Blog Posts/News Article to be published on our Website/Socials based on recent Attacks/Malware campaigns

Research and summarize current tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by threat actors, focusing on relevance to network traffic, protocols, and behavioral indicators.

Collaborate with SOC, engineering, and product teams to translate findings into use cases, detection logic, or enrichment data for the NDR system.

Contribute to the development and refinement of detection rules, signatures, and behavioral analytics for network-based threats.

Assist in maintaining and updating internal threat intelligence repositories and feeds, including IOCs, suspicious domains, hashes, and known malicious patterns.

Support intelligence-driven investigations and incident analysis by gathering, documenting, and providing threat context.

Participate in internal knowledge sharing and education sessions to improve team awareness and capabilities.

Help create reports, dashboards, and playbooks to highlight threat actor activities and recommended detection strategies.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field (or demonstrable self-learning/online certifications).

3+ Years of Experience in Threat Intel Research tools, OSINT, MISP, STIX/TAXII

3+ experience with SIEM/NDR tools, log analysis, or basic threat research is a plus.

Familiarity with threat intelligence concepts, cyber kill chain, and MITRE ATT&CK framework.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to summarize findings clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Familiar with shell/python scripting.

Capability to work independently, manage time effectively, and ask for guidance when needed.
