About the Role:We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary PrincipalEngineer/Associate Software Architectto join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you willbe a key technical leader, responsiblefor designing, building, and scaling our backend systems.You will be a hands -on contributor, amentor to other engineers, and a strategic partner inshaping our technology roadmap. This is aunique opportunity to bridge the gap between high -levelarchitecture and implementation, ensuringour systems are robust, scalable, and aligned with ourbusiness goals..Key Responsibilities:∙Architectural Design and Strategy:∙Lead the design and development of high -performance,scalable, and resilient backend servicesand APIs.∙Define and drive the long -term technical vision andarchitectural roadmap for our backendsystems.∙Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, andframeworks to improve systemperformance and engineering productivity.âCreate and maintain architectural documentation, includingsystem diagrams, design patterns,and best practices.∙Technical Leadership and Mentorship:∙Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team ofbackend engineers, fostering a culture ofinnovation and excellence.∙Lead by example with hands -on coding, code reviews, andsetting high standards for codequality and test coverage.∙Collaborate with cross -functional teams, including productmanagement, frontend engineering,and DevOps, to deliver end -to -end solutions.∙System Development and Optimization:∙Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Java.∙Design and implement data models for relational and NoSQLdatabases.∙Optimize application performance, scalability, andreliability through profiling, load testing, andmonitoring.∙Implement and champion best practices for security, dataprotection, and compliance RequirementsMust -Have Skills:∙8–10 years of experience in backend development,with 3+ years in a leadership orarchitecture -focused role∙Strong expertise in Java (8+) and Spring ecosystem(Spring Boot, Spring MVC, SpringData)∙Proven experience designing and building microservicesand distributed systems∙Hands -on experience with REST APIs, SQL and NoSQLdatabases (e.g., PostgreSQL,MongoDB, Redis)∙3+ years working with AWS services (e.g., ECS,Lambda, S3, RDS)∙Experience with CI/CD tools, containerization using Docker, and Linux environments∙Proficiency with build tools like Maven or Gradle and testframeworks like JUnit/Mockito∙Strong focus on system performance, security,scalability, and reliability∙Excellent communication, problem -solving, andcross -functional collaboration skillsGood to Have:∙Experience building and using ETL systems andintegrations. (Python)∙Exposure to Spring Cloud, Spring Security∙Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Sentry∙Experience with ElasticSearch or event -drivenarchitectures∙Experience working in a DevOps culture; good to havehands -on DevOps skills (e.g.,Terraform, Ansible, etc.)Preferred Qualification:Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, ora related field.
