We are seeking an experienced and motivated Freelance Academic Counselor to guide and support students in making informed decisions about their education and career paths. This role involves counselling prospective students, explaining academic programs, assisting with admission procedures, and providing personalised guidance to help them choose the right course or institution. The position is flexible and commission-based, ideal for professionals with strong networking and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Counsel students on academic programs, courses, and career options based on their interests and qualifications.
  • Provide information on admission requirements, application processes, and academic timelines.
  • Assist students in selecting suitable institutions, universities, or training programs.
  • Maintain regular follow-up with leads until successful enrollment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions and training providers.
  • Conduct seminars, webinars, or one-on-one counselling sessions (online or in-person).
  • Keep updated with the latest academic trends, course structures, and career opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions and student progress.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Education, Psychology, or related fields preferred).
  • Prior experience in academic counselling, admissions, or career guidance.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in using digital communication tools (Zoom, Google Meet, WhatsApp, etc.).
  • Good networking and relationship-building skills.
