Job Description: ADF Developer (4-6 Years of Experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF) to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Develop and optimize data processing workflows using Azure Synapse Analytics (formerly Azure SQL Data Warehouse)
  • Implement data transformations and aggregations using Databricks and Spark for advanced analytics.
  • Collaborate with data architects and data engineers to design and implement scalable and reliable data solutions.
  • Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Optimize query performance and troubleshoot issues in ADF, Synapse, and Databricks environments.
  • Work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Monitor and maintain the health and performance of data pipelines and analytics solutions.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Azure data technologies and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in developing data pipelines and solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, and Databricks
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and familiarity with Azure SQL Database and/or Azure Synapse Analytics SQL pools
  • Experience with ADF pipeline orchestration and data ingestion from various sources such as databases, APIs, and file systems
  • Knowledge of Spark and Databricks for data processing, transformations, and data analytics
  • Familiarity with data modeling and schema design in Azure Synapse and Azure SQL Databases
  • Understanding of data integration, data warehousing, and ETL concepts
  • Proficiency in Azure cloud services and infrastructure, particularly related to data processing and analytics
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
