As we prepare to scale our footprint across India and beyond, we are looking for a passionate Senior Manager- Brand & Marketing to shape the brand narrative, drive market penetration, and strengthen our appeal to both consumers and investors.

Role Overview

The Senior Manager Brand & Marketing will lead the company's overall marketing strategy — from consumer brand building (D2C) to trade & institutional marketing (B2B) to investor storytelling and visibility.

This is a senior role requiring a strategic thinker who can also execute hands-on in a lean team environment.

The ideal candidate will blend creativity, analytical skill, and entrepreneurial drive to build a brand that resonates deeply with Indian consumers and inspires confidence among venture capital partners.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Positioning

Develop and own the company's brand architecture, vision, and identity across product categories.

Craft a unified brand narrative that connects emotionally with consumers and communicates innovation and purpose to investors.

Conduct deep market research, category analysis, and consumer insight studies to guide product positioning and communication.

Oversee brand voice, tone, and visual identity consistency across digital, print, packaging, and partner platforms.

Define short- and long-term brand goals and measure brand health metrics (awareness, equity, recall).

D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) Marketing

Lead the company's D2C growth strategy across its own ecommerce website and key online marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, BigBasket, etc.)

Drive full-funnel marketing — awareness, acquisition, retention, and loyalty — through data-driven campaigns.

Manage digital performance marketing (Google Ads, Meta, influencer collaborations) to achieve ROAS and CPA goals.

Oversee content marketing, SEO/SEM, social media engagement, and email automation to strengthen consumer connection.

Work with the tech and design teams to enhance website UX, storytelling, and conversion optimization.

Develop customer feedback loops and use insights to improve product communication and experience.

B2B (Business-to-Business) Marketing

Develop a strong B2B brand presence for distributors, retail partners, institutional buyers, and hospitality clients.

Create category-led brand stories and trade marketing campaigns that differentiate our products on shelves and in catalogues.

Design impactful sales enablement tools (catalogues, brand decks, retail branding, POSM materials).

Support the sales team with lead generation campaigns, co-branded marketing support, and retail engagement programs.

Build relationships with key accounts and distribution partners to align marketing and commercial objectives.

  • Investor & Venture Capital Brand Building

Collaborate with founders to craft the brand narrative for investors, highlighting traction, scalability, and purpose.

Design pitch decks, brand films, and milestone presentations that communicate brand potential and differentiation.

Build brand visibility through earned media, PR stories, industry awards, and speaking opportunities.

Showcase consumer engagement metrics, retention data, and brand growth stories to strengthen investor confidence.

Position the company as an emerging challenger brand in the Indian personal and home care space.

  • Product & Innovation Support

Partner with the R&D and product teams during new product development — ensuring insights-driven positioning, naming, and packaging.

Conduct pre-launch market testing, consumer trials, and go-to-market strategy for new SKUs.

Ensure packaging design and communication are aligned with brand identity, category cues, and sustainability principles.

  • Leadership & Team Development

Lead, mentor, and grow a small but talented marketing team.

Establish clear KPIs for digital, brand, and B2B marketing functions.

Build strong relationships with creative, media, PR, and influencer agencies.

Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability within the marketing function.

Present quarterly brand reviews and marketing impact reports to founders and board members.

Ideal Candidate Snapshot

You are a brand builder, growth strategist, and storyteller rolled into one. You can combine instinct with insight, manage a small but powerful team, and thrive in a fastpaced environment where creativity meets accountability. You believe in building Indian brands that stand for trust, innovation, and global quality.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or growth leadership
  • roles.
  • Strong background in FMCG, D2C, or personal/home care industries (startup experience preferred).
  • Proven ability to build brands from scratch, develop consumer campaigns, and launch new product lines.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, influencer marketing, and omnichannel growth.
  • Experience in B2B marketing or channel marketing is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to investor communications, brand valuation storytelling, or fundraising support will be a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — proactive, creative, and comfortable working in
  • ambiguity and in small teams
