Overview: As a Petroleum Engineer Fresher, you will play a crucial role in the exploration, extraction, and production of oil and gas resources. Your work will directly impact the design and implementation of drilling and completion strategies, reservoir management, and production optimization. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the efficient and safe extraction of hydrocarbons.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in the design and implementation of drilling programs
  • Conducting reservoir simulation and analysis
  • Evaluating well performance and optimizing production
  • Assisting in the development of production strategies
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and environmental standards
  • Assisting in the preparation of technical reports and documentation
  • Participating in on-site operations and well testing
  • Utilizing industry software and tools for data analysis and interpretation
  • Participating in safety and risk assessment activities
  • Supporting senior engineers in project planning and execution
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
  • Understanding of reservoir engineering principles
  • Knowledge of drilling and production processes
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., PETREL, Eclipse, Prosper)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Internship or co-op experience in an engineering capacity
  • Understanding of basic geological concepts
