The Opportunity

As we establish our presence in Saudi Arabia, we face a unique and exciting challenge: bridging the communication between our experienced team in India and our new, talented team in Saudi Arabia. Our Indian team operates in English, while our Saudi team is fluent in Arabic.

To ensure seamless collaboration and operational excellence, we are seeking a highly skilled and professional Bilingual Translator (Arabic/English). This role is crucial to our success in the region. You will be the vital link that connects our two teams, ensuring nothing is lost in translation.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary communication bridge between our English-speaking team in India and our Arabic-speaking team in Saudi Arabia.
• Provide accurate and timely translation of written communications, including emails, business documents, marketing materials, operational reports, and official correspondence.
• Offer real-time interpretation during virtual and in-person meetings, conference calls, and training sessions to facilitate clear and effective dialogue.
• Develop a deep understanding of Saman Tea's business model, products, and operational workflows to provide contextually accurate translations.
• Ensure that the tone, style, and nuances of communications are preserved to maintain professional relationships and clarity.
• Assist in translating and localizing content for the Saudi market as required.
• Collaborate closely with management in both India and Saudi Arabia to ensure all business objectives are clearly communicated and understood.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in both Arabic and English (written and verbal).
• Proven experience as a professional translator or interpreter, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under deadlines.
• A high degree of professionalism and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in using common communication tools and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Zoom, Google Workspace).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), retail, or food and beverage industry.
• Familiarity with business terminology and practices in both India and Saudi Arabia.
• A degree in Translation, Linguistics, Business, or a related field.
