Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background and proficiency in procurement software:

  • Experience: 4 to 5 years of proven experience in a similar procurement role.
  • Software Proficiency:

  • Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office tools.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of sourcing mechanical components and raw materials.
  • Analytical mindset for cost-reduction initiatives and inventory optimization.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Purchase Executive, you will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from planning to supplier management:

  • Plan, source, and procure raw materials, mechanical components, consumables, tools, spares, and services as per production and project requirements.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels in coordination with the stores and production departments.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for quality materials at competitive prices.
  • Build long-term strategic relationships with key suppliers.
  • Prepare monthly rejection record for quality of material.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings without compromising on quality.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all purchases (POs, quotations, invoices, delivery notes, etc.).
  • Prepare regular reports on purchase activities, cost savings, supplier performance, and material shortages.
  • Identify of Material Indent as per factory and sending enquiry to existing & new Supplier.
  • Identify and develop alternative sources of supply to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
  • Analyze consumption patterns to optimize inventory levels and minimize obsolescence.
  • Drive initiatives for cost reduction through bulk procurement, alternate materials, and supplier partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control (QC) team to handle supplier quality issues and corrective actions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹350, ₹450,000.00 per year
