Role Description (#TalendETL, #Talend)

This is a
full-time on-site
role for a
Talend ETL Developer
based in
Madurai, Tamil Nadu
.

The developer will be responsible for
designing, developing, testing, and deploying ETL processes
using
Talend Data Integration
and related tools within the Talend suite. The role involves close collaboration with the
data engineering team
to implement robust data integration solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize
    Talend ETL workflows
    for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) across diverse source systems.
  • Collaborate with
    business and functional teams
    to understand requirements and translate them into scalable data integration solutions using Talend.
  • Identify, design, and implement
    data integration patterns and best practices
    aligned with enterprise data architecture standards.
  • Ensure
    data quality, integrity, and consistency
    through validation, profiling, and adherence to established governance and integration standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve
    ETL performance, data quality, and job execution
    issues in Talend environments.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years
    of hands-on experience as a
    Talend Developer
    .
  • Proven expertise in the
    development, testing, and deployment
    of data integration workflows.
  • Strong skills in
    SQL
    and data querying.
  • Bachelor's degree
    in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience working in
    Agile or Scrum
    software development environments.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Nice to have:
    Exposure to
    Azure Data Factory (ADF)
    and
    Python-based data integration or automation frameworks
    .
