We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Regional Sales Engineer with experience in the automation industry. This role involves owning regional sales and service activities, developing strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering effective technical and commercial solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong market knowledge with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities- Take complete ownership of business development and service activities within the assigned region.
- Manage and grow key accounts by maintaining regular contact, identifying new requirements, and increasing overall business value.
- Actively prospect new customers and present automation solutions through compelling technical and commercial presentations.
- Collaborate closely with Business Development Managers to ensure effective market coverage.
- Gather and validate technical requirements and coordinate with application engineering teams for solution development.
- Maintain accurate sales and customer data using CRM tools to support forecasting and pipeline management.
- Lead negotiations and close deals in line with agreed commercial terms and company policies.
- Execute strategic sales initiatives to drive year-on-year revenue growth.
- Own the sales process end-to-end, including delegation and coordination with internal teams to maximize market penetration.
- Apply project-based sales techniques while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Analyze sales data to generate accurate forecasts and performance insights.
- Demonstrate strong decision-making, problem-solving, and creative thinking capabilities.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and lead generation.
- Experience in regional sales within the automation or industrial solutions domain.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and CRM platforms.
- Ability to develop effective marketing, branding, and networking strategies.
- Strong analytical skills for sales data analysis and forecasting.
