Job Description – UI/UX Designer (3 Years Experience)

Location: Kolkata (Onsite)

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and creative UI/UX Designer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in designing modern, user-centric web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Angular and React-based application design workflows, and should be able to collaborate closely with development teams to deliver seamless, intuitive digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design intuitive, user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Create high-fidelity UI designs using design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Work closely with Angular and React development teams to maintain design consistency and feasibility.
  • Conduct usability testing, user research, and analyze user feedback to improve designs.
  • Develop and maintain design systems, UI kits, and reusable components.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to UX best practices, accessibility standards, and responsiveness principles.
  • Communicate design ideas through storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
  • Participate in brainstorming and design review sessions to contribute innovative ideas.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a UI/UX Designer.
  • Strong understanding of UI principles, UX research, user flows, and interaction design.
  • Experience designing for Angular and React front-end frameworks (design alignment, component structure, and developer handoff).
  • Proficient in design tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator.
  • Solid experience in creating responsive and mobile-first designs.
  • Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user journey maps.
  • Good knowledge of color theory, typography, spacing, and layout design.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing real-world projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience with design systems and component libraries.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS basics to improve developer collaboration.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Knowledge of branding and graphic design is a plus.
