About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Social Media Executive to join our growing digital team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience managing live streams, enforcing platform guidelines, and working across multiple social media channels with a deep understanding of platform-specific rules and trends.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and execute live streaming on multiple platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn) using tools like OBS, StreamYard, Restream, etc.

- Ensure content is in compliance with Reused Content Policies across platforms to prevent demonetization or penalties.

- Monitor and report impersonation/fake accounts, assist in their takedown from platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.

- Implement correct copyright practices, especially for Bollywood music understanding of fair use, licensing, and legal alternatives.

- Create and set up new channels across platforms including channel verification, branding setup, and quick issue resolution.

- Generate periodic reports for performance, growth, and compliance tracking.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 2-4 years of experience in a social media executive or content moderation role.

- Prior experience working in a news media organization is a plusRole & responsibilities

Strong understanding of all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X/Twitter, LinkedIn).

- Knowledge of platform-specific community and monetization guidelines.

- Familiarity with copyright laws, especially related to Indian content.

- Proficiency in social media tools for scheduling, analytics, and streaming.

- Experience with tools like Meta Business Suite, Creator Studio, YouTube Studio, etc.

- Excellent writing skills in Hindi, with strong command over Hindi grammar.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven newsroom/social desk environment.
