Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior GCP Data Engineer
with proven expertise in designing and managing large-scale data solutions on
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with
BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, and Cloud Storage
, along with strong proficiency in
ETL/ELT, data governance, and security practices
.

This is an
onsite role in Bangalore
, requiring close collaboration with client teams to deliver enterprise-grade data engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain
    data pipelines
    using GCP services such as
    Cloud Dataflow, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage
    .
  • Build scalable
    real-time and batch data pipelines
    using
    Apache Beam
    and
    event-driven architecture (Pub/Sub)
    .
  • Implement and manage
    secure and efficient data storage solutions
    , handling both structured and unstructured data.
  • Automate and orchestrate ETL workflows using
    Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow)
    .
  • Perform
    data integration
    from multiple sources into data lakes and warehouses.
  • Transform raw data into actionable insights through
    data cleansing, aggregation, and enrichment
    .
  • Optimize
    data workflows
    for scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with
    data governance, IAM, encryption, and regulatory standards
    (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines using
    Stackdriver (Cloud Monitoring & Logging)
    .
  • Collaborate with
    data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders
    to align solutions with business needs.
  • Stay updated with the latest
    GCP features, best practices, and industry trends
    .

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6–8 years
    of IT/data engineering experience with strong focus on
    GCP data services
    .
  • BigQuery Mastery
    – designing, optimizing, and managing large-scale analytical queries and data models.
  • Proven expertise in
    Cloud Dataflow
    and
    Pub/Sub
    for real-time and batch pipelines.
  • Strong hands-on experience with
    Cloud Storage
    and
    workflow orchestration
    (Cloud Composer / Airflow).
  • Proficiency in
    SQL, Python, and Apache Beam
    .
  • Deep understanding of
    ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data modeling
    .
  • Knowledge of
    data governance, IAM, encryption, audit logging, and compliance frameworks
    .
  • Excellent
    problem-solving and collaboration skills
    .
  • Mandatory:
    Willingness to work
    onsite at client office in Bangalore
    .
