Role Overview
The Candidates must have strong technical understanding of packaging machines and proven experience in B2B industrial sales.The Business Development Assistant Manager will play a key role in expanding market presence, generating new business opportunities, and strengthening customer relationships. The role involves strategic planning, market analysis, product positioning, and driving sales growth through innovative business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
· Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and margin targets.
· Manage end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and deal closure.
· Prepare and deliver technical product presentations and demonstrations to clients.
· Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in packaging machinery.
· Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
· Provide technical consultation, understand customer requirements, and coordinate with engineering & production teams for customized solutions.
· Ensure post-sales follow-up and address customer concerns to drive satisfaction and repeat business.
· Onsite visit as and need basis.
· Work closely with NPD, production, marketing, and service teams to support product development and project execution.
· Coordinate with the marketing team for trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
· Collaborate with service engineers to ensure smooth installation, commissioning, and after-sales service.
· Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and pipeline progress in CRM systems.
