Role Overview:

The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating, setting, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality surgical equipment components, OT tables, lights, autoclaves, and hospital furniture parts as per company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC milling, turning, and drilling machines according to production requirements.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM programs.
  • Perform machine programming adjustments, tool changes, and offsets to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor machining operations to maintain precision, quality, and efficiency.
  • Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Maintain logs of daily production activities and machine performance.
  • Conduct routine machine checks, preventive maintenance, and report issues to the supervisor.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO quality standards, company SOPs, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production supervisors for continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field.
  • 5–8 years of hands-on experience in CNC machine operation (milling/lathe).
  • Knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming basics.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with safety practices and quality management systems.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Prior experience in
    medical equipment manufacturing
    will be an added advantage.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
