ADTECH Corp is seeking a dynamic, creative, and technical professional to fill the dual role of 
WordPress Developer & UX Designer
. This position is crucial for bridging the gap between design vision and technical implementation. You will be responsible for applying 
User-Centered Design (UCD)
 principles to create intuitive and high-converting user experiences and then building out those designs using 
PHP
 within the 
WordPress
 ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of proven experience in both domains and a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in both code and design thinking.

Responsibilities:

WordPress Development & Implementation

  • Develop, build, and continuously maintain high-quality, scalable WordPress website.
  • Ensure optimal responsiveness
     across all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile) through meticulous coding and testing.
  • Customize WordPress themes and create custom plugins primarily using 
    PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery
    .
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and translate design prototypes into responsive, cross-browser compatible, and accessible code.
  • Optimize website performance, load times, and security protocols.
  • Manage code deployment, version control (e.g., Git), and collaborate with back-end systems through API integrations.

User Experience (UX) & User Interface (UI) Design

  • Conduct 
    user research
     (e.g., competitive analysis, user interviews, surveys) to inform design decisions and uncover user needs and pain points.
  • Create design artifacts including 
    wireframes, user flows, storyboards, and interactive prototypes
     using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
  • Design visually appealing and intuitive 
    User Interfaces (UI)
     that align with business goals and ADTECH Corp's brand guidelines.
  • Perform 
    usability testing
     and iteration on designs based on data, user feedback, and A/B testing results.

Qualification:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience
     working in a combined or separate roles encompassing both web development and UX/UI design.
  • Expertise in PHP
     specifically within the WordPress environment (custom themes, child themes, and plugin development).
  • Strong command of front-end technologies: 
    HTML5, CSS3/Sass, and JavaScript/jQuery
    .
  • Proficiency with a leading UX/UI design and prototyping tool (e.g., 
    Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
    ).
  • Demonstrable understanding of 
    User-Centered Design (UCD)
     principles, information architecture, and responsive/mobile-first design.
  • An exceptional 
    portfolio
     showcasing both live WordPress projects and design process work (wireframes, prototypes, user flows).
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
