WordPress Developer & Marketing Intern - FishMyDeal

FishMyDeal, a leading coupon aggregator startup, is seeking a WordPress & Shopify Developer Intern who supports our digital marketing efforts with website research, development, and SEO-friendly updates. This internship offers a unique blend of digital marketing and development exposure, ideal for those interested in working with WordPress and Shopify platforms with a focus on site performance and SEO.

Key Responsibilities:


• Conduct research and development related to website loading speed optimization and content updates.


• Handle WordPress platform tasks including theme customization, plugin management, and SEO-friendly site improvements.


• Work with basic Shopify setup knowledge to assist with storefront updates and minor customizations.


• Collaborate closely with marketing and design teams to ensure smooth website and campaign execution.


• Support SEO initiatives through site optimization and content management.

Skills & Qualifications:


• Basic understanding of WordPress development, Shopify platforms, and digital marketing.


• Familiarity with web performance tools and techniques to improve site loading speeds.


• Awareness of coding principles, although no extensive coding is required.


• SEO-friendly site setup and content update knowledge.


• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to deliver assigned tasks within deadlines.

Work Details:


• Location: Onsite at Banjara Hills, Road Number 12 office.


• Working Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00 AM to 6:15 PM; Saturday work from home.


• Internship Duration: 3 months.


• Stipend: ₹15,000 paid at the end of the internship.


• Letter of recommendation and internship certificate provided.


• Performance-based opportunity for permanent role.
