About the Role

We are looking for a talented and self-driven WordPress Developer with 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with custom themes, plugins, Woo Commerce, and page builders such as Elementor. A strong understanding of PHP, front-end technologies, website optimization, and security best practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom WordPress websites using themes, plugins, and Page Builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery).
  • Create and implement custom themes, child themes, custom post types, taxonomies, and ACF-based dynamic layouts.
  • Develop and customize WordPress plugins using PHP and integrate third-party APIs where required.
  • Configure and customize WooCommerce stores, including product management, checkout modifications, cart rules, and payment gateway integration.
  • Write clean, optimized, secure, and scalable code using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6), and jQuery.
  • Ensure responsive and cross-browser compatible designs across all devices.
  • Optimize website performance: caching, speed improvements, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Implement technical SEO, schema markup, and analytics tracking using Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel & Microsoft Clarity.
  • Perform bug fixing, code troubleshooting, and website maintenance.
  • Manage hosting environments using cPanel/Plesk, FTP/SFTP, DNS, migration, and backup systems.
  • Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality websites.
  • Ensure website security through SSL, firewall configuration, and vulnerability checks.
  • Maintain documentation and adhere to delivery timelines.

Required Technical Skills:

  • WordPress CMS (custom theme & plugin development)
  • Elementor Pro, Gutenberg, WPBakery
  • WooCommerce development & customization
  • PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (ES6), jQuery
  • HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS (preferred)
  • ACF, WordPress Hooks & Filters, REST API
  • Website speed optimization (GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights)
  • Security implementation (SSL, Wordfence/Sucuri)
  • SEO and analytics integration (GA4, Tag Manager, Pixel)
  • Version control (Git / GitHub / Bitbucket)
  • Hosting management & WordPress migration

Good to Have:

Knowledge of API integrations (Google APIs, WhatsApp, CRM, SMS gateways).

Familiarity with UI/UX tools (Adobe XD, Figma).

Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Experience with WooCommerce Multi-vendor / Booking systems.

Basic knowledge of Cloud hosting.
