Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Prepare project brief and pre-initiation feasibility study report
  • Generate Project Definition and Scope statement
  • Generate L0 level project constraints and get the same approved from Sponsor
  • Develop project roaster and identify all stakeholders
  • Generate RACI matrix and assign roles & responsibilities
  • Generate Organogram and get the same approved from Owner representative
  • Decide type of organogram applicable for each project
  • Generate Project Execution Plan
  • Project Initiation
  • Defines objectives and goals for each department
  • Get project schedule developed
  • Get project budget and WBS developed
  • Get project acceptance criteria signed off from Owner / Operator
  • Decide on execution and handover strategy
  • Define project risks and develop risk mitigation plan
  • Chair weekly / monthly project review meetings and decide course of action for each stakeholder
  • Convey project status and project health to Sponsor and get his approval / directives conveyed to other stakeholders
  • Monitor and Control EPC project progress
  • Appoint suitable project engineers as per project requirements and mentor them to become project managers
  • Builds relationships with internal and external stake holders

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field of study with Project Management Certification from reputed Institutions
  • Minimum 12 to 15+ years of working experience in project management and project engineering from Clients side
  • Proven computer platform experience
  • Strong people management experience
  • The ability to work with multiple disciplines of projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent People Management skills
  • Excellent budgeting and cost containment skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
