Role & responsibilities

  • Develops Scope of work and parameters for project implementation
  • Prepares Project Initiation or conceptualisation report
  • Prepares project execution plan
  • Prepares project organogram, project charter and roaster
  • Defines project objectives and goals
  • Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management
  • Prepare & Review project feasibility reports, cost estimates, Project plans
  • Prepares summary recommendations for Management approvals
  • Prepares budgets and facilitate approval from Management
  • Develops Scope of work and parameters for project implementation
  • Set up processes & mechanism for seamless interfaces among Projects, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Vendors, Contractors & Operations
  • Develops project schedule with Planning team by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements
  • Identifies project responsibilities, delegating phases and elements to the appropriate personnel
  • Develop and control the full project-plan lifecycle
  • Monitor & review project progress reports
  • Prepares detailed Scope of Work ad DOR and assists P&C team in selection of Consultant, Architect
  • Coordinates for controlling schedule for issue of Engineering deliverables
  • Coordinates with Procurement and Contracts group for finalising Architect, Consultant, vendors and materials
  • Organises kick-off meetings with various stakeholders

  • Ensures various processes for execution are followed

  • Monitors project progress, coordinates activities, and resolves problems.

  • Coordination with construction group for resolving issues of construction related activities through Engineering teams, Design teams, Quality team and procurement team
  • Identifying the bottle necks in the project and working out best possible strategy to handle the same
  • Manage EPC contracts
  • Monitor and control budgetary, scheduling, and project database oversight, and report regularly to Project Manager to keep him/her constantly informed of job progress, plans and problems that could significantly affect costs or schedules
  • Cooperating and communicating with the Project Manager and other project members and collaborating with them to create more efficient project methods
  • Follow up for the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
  • Monitoring of contractors variation statements, scope change, extra items and other claims and proving resolution within stipulated timelines
  • Identifies risk , provides mitigation plan and monitor and update regularly
  • Builds relationships with internal and external stake holders
  • Project close out & Technical capitalization reports

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field of study with Project Management Certification from reputed Institutions
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of working experience in project management and project engineering from Client's side
  • Proven computer platform experience
  • Strong people management experience
  • The ability to work with multiple disciplines of projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent budgeting and cost containment skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
