Job description:

To supervise and manage all on-site civil construction activities, ensuring timely execution, quality workmanship, and adherence to safety and design specifications. The role requires strong technical knowledge in RCC, structural works, shuttering, and effective labour/resource management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day civil works at the construction site, ensuring compliance with drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
  • Monitor RCC and structural work including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, etc.
  • Oversee shuttering, formwork, and reinforcement work, ensuring proper alignment and execution.
  • Arrange, coordinate, and manage labour, construction materials, and tools on site to meet work targets.
  • Supervise shuttering and formwork to ensure alignment, structural integrity, and safe dismantling. Monitor material usage and verify formwork quality against design specifications.
  • Manage labour, materials, and tools to ensure smooth site operations and coordinate with vendors for timely supply.
  • Ensure site safety regulations are followed and work is performed under safe conditions.
  • Liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and labour deployment.
  • Report daily/weekly progress to the project engineer or manager with updates on site conditions and challenges.
  • Support in resolving technical issues or on-site execution problems promptly.
