As we expand our offerings, showroom presence, and turnkey interior projects, we are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and client-centric Interior Designer to join our team.

Role Overview

The Interior Designer will conceptualize, design, and execute interior solutions (residential, commercial, showroom, etc.) working hand-in-hand with clients, sales, procurement, and manufacturing teams. You will create the look & feel of spaces while ensuring seamless integration of our furniture products and modular systems, and managing end-to-end execution from concept to handover.

You will be responsible for visual storytelling, technical drawings, client presentations, space planning, material selection, site supervision, and maintaining quality & brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Concept & Design

• Meet with clients (onsite / virtual) to understand their requirements, style preferences, budget, timelines, and constraints.
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, layouts, material palettes, color schemes, lighting plans, and spatial planning solutions.
• Integrate furniture / modular systems (from Impressions Avenues product catalog) into designs in a harmonious way.
• Create 2D drawings, 3D renderings, visualizations, and walk-throughs to help clients visualize the proposed design.
• Present design proposals to clients, gather feedback, make revisions, and finalize designs.

Technical & Documentation

• Prepare detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, joinery drawings, and technical specifications (materials, finishes, hardware, lighting, etc.).
• Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ), material schedules, cost estimates, and procurement lists.
• Ensure compatibility of designs with structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other constraints.
• Coordinate with procurement to source materials, fixtures, and finishes consistent with the design and budget.

Execution & Project Management

• Liaise with contractors, site teams, vendors, and suppliers to ensure design compliance, quality, and timely delivery.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, inspect workmanship, ensure adherence to design, and resolve any issues.
• Provide instructions and clarifications to contractors and vendors based on design documents.
• Assist in project scheduling, tracking, and coordination of various disciplines (civil, electrical, carpentry, finishing).
• Manage changes, variations, and client requests during execution while maintaining design integrity and cost controls.

Quality & Brand Consistency

• Uphold brand design standards, consistency in aesthetics, materials, and workmanship across all projects.
• Review finished installations to ensure they match design intent, resolve deficiencies, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Keep updated with current trends, materials, techniques, and furniture innovations.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with sales / business development teams to support client pitches, and design proposals.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing / carpentry / modular units to ensure designs are practical, manufactural, and economical.
• Communicate clearly with clients, internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment.
• Prepare portfolios, case studies, design samples, and showroom displays.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 37 years of experience in interior design / turnkey projects / furniture / modular interiors.
• Proficiency with design software: AutoCAD, 3ds Max / SketchUp / Revit / Blender, rendering tools (V-Ray, Lumion, etc.), Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, lighting, joinery, furniture systems, and interior detailing.
• Good sense of spatial planning, proportions, ergonomics, and aesthetics.
• Ability to convert design vision into technical drawings and execution-level documents.
• Experience in site supervision, vendor coordination, and project execution.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to multitask across projects.
• Willingness to travel within city / site visits and to vendors as needed.
