Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description:

We're seeking an experienced Cloud Production Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud operations team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud infrastructure and VoIP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide production support for GCP services, including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Storage

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with VoIP systems, including SIP, WebRTC, RTP, and SRTP

  • Implement and optimize Quality of Service (QoS) for voice traffic

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of VoIP and cloud-native systems

  • Develop and implement automation scripts using tools like Bash, Python, or similar

  • Analyze system performance metrics and diagnose issues related to CPU, memory, disk, and network

  • Participate in incident management and troubleshooting production systems in a live environment

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in cloud production support or system reliability role

  • Hands-on experience with GCP services, including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Storage

  • Strong understanding of VoIP protocols, including SIP, WebRTC, RTP, and SRTP

  • Experience with Session Border Controllers (SBCs) configuration and troubleshooting

  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Bash, Python, or similar

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Nice to Have:

  • Certifications like CCNA: Collaboration or CompTIA Network+

  • Experience with contact center technologies (ACD, IVR) integration and support

  • Gateway configuration (analog, digital, SIP trunks) and media codecs (G.711, G.729)

  • Systems and network integration experience with cloud-native and hybrid environments
