Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer / Sales Manager
(designation and compensation based on experience) to join our core sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong customer relationships in the assigned region. This role combines technical understanding with proactive sales engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and understand CTS's range of mechanical products and solutions to confidently present them to customers.
  • Identify, contact, and follow up with prospective customers via calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
  • Conduct regular client visits and attend meetings to understand requirements and offer suitable solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and customer interactions.
  • Gather customer feedback and share insights with the internal team to support continuous improvement.
  • Assist in preparing technical presentations, quotations, or sales materials as required.
  • Participate in minor marketing and promotional activities when needed.
  • Travel regularly to meet clients and explore new business opportunities.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical Engineering preferred; other engineering or management fields may also apply).
  • Experience:
  • Fresh graduates with a mechanical background are welcome; training will be provided.
  • Experienced professionals in
    mechanical product sales
    (such as Servo Planetary Gearboxes, LM Rails, Guideways, or Ballscrews) will have an advantage.
  • Languages:
    Proficiency in
    English, Hindi, and Marathi
    required. Knowledge of additional Indian languages—especially from Southern India—is a plus.
  • Technical Aptitude:
    Strong willingness to learn technical products with a basic understanding of mechanical components.
  • Soft Skills:
    Energetic, proactive, and customer-focused with strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
