Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of commercial claims ( non EB - Property, Marine & Engineering ) – from intimation, registration, and investigation to settlement and closure.
  • Evaluate policy coverage, terms & conditions, exclusions, and endorsements to determine claim liability.
  • Coordinate with surveyors, loss adjusters, underwriters, legal advisors, and reinsurers for claim assessment.
  • Conduct thorough investigation and validation of claims, ensuring adherence to regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Negotiate and finalize settlements, balancing customer service with cost control.
  • Prepare and maintain claims documentation, MIS reports, and analytics to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations, internal audit standards, and corporate governance.
  • Handle customer escalations and ensure a transparent, fair claims experience.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance claims efficiency.
