Main Purpose

Manage and report on financial activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company goals, playing a vital role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Statements Preparation:
  • Prepare financial statements and monthly/quarterly reports.
  • Gather and input data into accounting software, ensuring accuracy and rectifying discrepancies.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable:
  • Process accounts payable and receivable accurately and timely.
  • Review invoices and manage payment schedules.
  • Ledger Maintenance:
  • Update ledgers regularly and conduct monthly reconciliations.
  • Budget Preparation:
  • Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, collaborating with department heads.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay updated with financial regulations and assist in audits.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
  • Work with various departments to gather financial information and provide insights.

Key Work Relationships

  • Internal: Finance Department, Operations, Sales, HR, and other stakeholders.
  • External: Contractors and service providers.

Role-Specific Requirements

  • Qualifications: Bachelors in Accounting or Finance; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are advantageous.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge: Proficient in accounting software (Sage 200 Evolution) and Microsoft Office Suite.
