Job description:

Job Brief: We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our restaurant team. The Cashier will be responsible for processing customer payments, providing excellent service, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly with a positive attitude.
• Accurately process cash, credit and debit transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently.
• Issue receipts, refunds and exchanges as needed, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with staff for any queries
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels and reporting any discrepancies to management.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe dining experience for all patrons.
• Perform end-of-day cash reconciliation and report any discrepancies.

Skills Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as a cashier.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail for accurate cash handling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive demeanor.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
