Job Summary The Restaurant Cashier is responsible for handling all guest billing and cash transactions accurately and efficiently This role ensures smooth operations of the restaurant s billing counter maintains accurate financial records and provides excellent customer service to all guests Key Responsibilities Greet guests courteously and process their bills promptly and accurately Handle cash credit card and other payment transactions in accordance with company policies Issue receipts refunds or change as required Maintain daily cash register reports and ensure all transactions are reconciled at the end of each shift Support the service team by coordinating with servers and kitchen staff for order updates and billing accuracy Ensure that all guest queries related to billing or pricing are handled professionally Follow standard operating procedures SOPs for cash handling and record keeping Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier s counter Assist in preparing daily sales reports and submitting them to the Accounts or F B department Comply with company policies regarding grooming conduct and service standards Report discrepancies or suspicious transactions immediately to the Restaurant Manager Requirements Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Cashier in a restaurant or hospitality setup Basic understanding of POS Point of Sale systems and billing procedures Strong numerical and attention-to-detail skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude Flexible to work in shifts weekends and holidays as per restaurant operations Basic computer knowledge MS Excel POS software etc Education Minimum 12th Pass or Diploma Degree in Hotel Management or a related field preferred Key Competencies Accuracy Attention to Detail Integrity Confidentiality Customer Focus Teamwork Time Management Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
