As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting mission-critical systems, mentoring engineers, and ensuring robust, secure, and scalable backend infrastructure for millions of concurrent players.

Responsibilities :

- Architect and design scalable backend systems capable of handling real-time data and high traffic.

- Build and secure microservices with industry best practices in encryption, authentication, and data protection.

- Apply expertise in parallel computing to improve performance, thread safety, and concurrency handling.

- Drive seamless service deployment and orchestration using Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Lead architectural decision-making and evaluate multiple frameworks, tools, and technologies for optimal fit.

- Own technical metrics, track system performance, and ensure continual optimization.

- Troubleshoot production issues, ensure system resilience, and deliver zero-downtime releases.

- Collaborate across engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to drive strategic initiatives.

- Mentor and guide junior team members through code reviews, architectural discussions, and best practices.

- Stay updated with evolving backend technologies, security protocols, and system design innovations.

Requirements :

years of backend development experience, including system design and large-scale architecture.

- In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, WebSockets).

- Strong background in network security, including securing APIs and data encryption.

- Proven experience with parallel computing, thread management, and concurrency control.

- Proficiency in container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and automation pipelines.

- Versatility to learn new languages or tech stacks as needed; proficiency in at least one OOP language.

- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Good to have :

- Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams.

- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code(e., Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Exposure to performance tuning, system integration, and large-scale data systems
