Travel Sales Consultant

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Inside Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling travel group packages, reaching out to prospective clients, and maintaining relationships with existing clients. You will be tasked with making 200+ outbound calls daily to generate leads, close sales, and drive revenue for the company's group travel business.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Sales: Make 150+ outbound calls daily to potential clients, including corporate groups, travel agents, and direct customers, to promote and sell group travel packages (domestic and international).
Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new sales leads through cold calling, referrals, and online research. Convert leads into confirmed bookings by actively engaging prospects and understanding their needs.
Sales Presentations: Present group travel packages (vacation, corporate, leisure, adventure, etc.) and customized itineraries to clients, providing detailed information about the destinations, itineraries, and pricing.
Follow-up and Relationship Management: Regularly follow up with prospects who have shown interest, providing them with additional information, resolving any concerns, and encouraging them to book group travel packages.
Client Engagement: Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring the clients' needs are met and resolving any issues related to the booking process.
Sales Targets: Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets set by the management team. Maintain a high conversion rate from leads to closed sales.
Market Knowledge: Stay updated with current trends in the travel industry, competitor offerings, and new destinations or packages to effectively sell and upsell group travel packages.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all calls, leads, sales, and customer interactions in the CRM system. Provide daily reports on progress toward sales targets.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of travel packages, from booking to delivery.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in inside sales, preferably in the travel industry, with a focus on outbound sales and cold calling.
Sales Target-Oriented: Ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with experience working in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade clients over the phone.
Customer-Centric: Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to handle objections and provide solutions.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and MS Office applications.
Knowledge of Travel Industry: Basic knowledge of the travel industry, including domestic and international destinations, flight bookings, hotels, and holiday packages.
Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time efficiently, including making 200+ calls per day while maintaining quality.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is preferred (e.g., Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, etc.).
