Supply Chain Performance Engineer
to join our global team. In this role, you will partner with suppliers, category managers, and internal teams to
improve supplier performance
in the areas of
quality, delivery, and cost
.

Location: Chennai / Rajkot (Remote) – Occasional travel to Pune & other work locations

Experience Required: 5+ Years in Supply Chain or related field

Qualification: Bachelor's in Engineering or Engineering Technology

Travel Requirement: Up to 50%

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience in the
    Heavy Machinery, Fabrication, or Defense Industry
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    PPAP, MSA, SPC
    , and other quality tools.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g.,
    Lean Six Sigma, CWI
    ).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with
    Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint
    , and other digital tools.
  • Proven ability to work in a
    fast-paced, continuously evolving environment
    .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and maintain
    standard work procedures
    and business processes for supplier performance.
  • Conduct
    Level 1–4 PPAP
    reviews and manage follow-up on Rejected/Interim Approved PPAPs.
  • Validate
    supplier capabilities, capacity, and quality systems
    .
  • Resolve performance issues using
    8D/SCAR
    and
    rapid continuous improvement
    tools.
  • Drive
    continuous improvement events (CIEs)
    and apply
    Lean principles
    to optimize supply chain processes.
  • Monitor and report on
    supplier quality and delivery performance
    .
  • Support
    launch readiness programs
    and cross-functional improvement councils.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree
    in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • 3+ years
    of experience in Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, or related fields.
  • Proficient in
    English (written and spoken)
    .
