The Role:

As a Senior Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and quality of our flagship SaaS product. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing automated testing strategies that help us deliver a flawless product to our users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases across all stages of product development.
  • Design and implement best practices for test automation to ensure consistency and efficiency in testing.
  • Work closely with the development team to identify, document, and resolve defects.
  • Analyze test results, generate reports on test status and product quality, and provide feedback to the development team.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage by understanding the product as a whole and its environment.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in testing methodologies, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the testing process.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Tester or similar role in a SaaS environment, particularly with products developed using the PHP Laravel framework.
  • Extensive knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., PHPUnit, Behat, Selenium, Codeception).
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools ( GitLab CI).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
