  • Offer customer wide range of frames and suggest them selecting suitable lens.
  • Educate patients on eye health, proper eyewear usage, and lens care.
  • Manage portable diagnostic instruments like retinoscopes, autorefractors, trial lenses ensuring they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Address patient inquiries and concerns regarding their eye health or eyewear prescriptions.
  • Ensure a professional and comforting environment during home visits.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of optometry and refraction techniques.
  • Proficiency in handling portable diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients in-home settings.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently during visits.
  • Attention to detail in prescribing eyewear and managing records.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Optometry or a related field.
  • Certification in refraction techniques.
  • Previous experience in conducting eye tests and refractions.

Additional Considerations:

  • Willingness to travel within a specific area for home visits.
  • Valid driving license and/or access to transportation.
