In order to protect itself and its customers Protect BT team is responsible for identify emerging threats to the business and our customers and responding to them , this includes addressing the risks arising out of any non-compliance to regulatory requirements.
The person holding the role would need to work with the various internal and stakeholders stakeholders including from business operations, security , regulatory, IT, HR , legal teams and other regional peers, the key purpose of your role is to protect BT's interest, assets and people by developing a comprehensive understanding of organization's security needs , Security standards and apply them towards the management of regional risks, compliance and for upliftment of Security posture.
What you'll be doing1. Executes the implementation of the Cyber Security strategy, developing and maintaining a current road map including new features and subservices required to meet commercial demand as well as changes to the security landscape, the sector and technologies.
Implements the deployment, integration and configuration of new security solutions and enhancements to existing security solutions in accordance with standard best operating procedures.
Runs resiliency exercises including threat modeling and security assessments, determining security requirements and specifications, and developing security solutions to satisfy design requirements.
Provides information and cyber security advice and guidance to key stakeholders across the BT Group.
Manages the implementation of information and cyber security controls and change initiatives across BT Group.
Reports the status of risk exposure and control maturity against the relevant policies and standards.
Runs analysis to the development of the Business Continuity Management Programme and Disaster Recovery Plan.
Utilises best practice knowledge to detect, identify and respond to cyber events, threats, security risks and vulnerabilities.
Follows product compliance with applicable security standards, group policies and industry best practices.
Mentors other cyber security professionals, helping to improve the team's abilities by acting as a technical resource.
Champions, continuously develops and shares with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in cyber security.

Preferable B.Tech/B.E/BSc in Computer sciences , IT, E&TC
-
Must have at least two of these certificates : CISA, CISSP, CISM and CCNA
