Job Summary

The Associate Consultant L3 Oracle Exadata will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle Exadata environments to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability. This role involves working on Exadata configuration, patching, backup & recovery, and troubleshooting across production and non-production systems. The consultant will collaborate with DBAs, system administrators, and application teams to deliver high-performing database infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support Oracle Exadata Database Machine (X7/X8/X9 or higher) environments.
  • Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle Database and Grid Infrastructure on Exadata.
  • Plan and execute patching, upgrades, and quarterly maintenance (firmware, OS, database, storage cells).
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance tuning strategies (SQL tuning, I/O tuning, resource manager, etc.).
  • Manage backup and recovery operations using RMAN and ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Support and troubleshoot RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and GoldenGate environments.
  • Collaborate with Oracle Support for SR resolution and proactive maintenance.
  • Participate in capacity planning, system optimization, and automation of regular tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with security and data governance standards.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and change logs.

Mandatory Skills: Oracle Exadata .
