Job description Accountant

Requirements:

· Degree in commerce (B.COM/M.COM/CA)

· Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting or related field.

· Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.

· Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Attention to work independently and as part of a team.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

· Knowledge of tax laws and regulations is a plus.

· Knowledge of GST and TDS work.

· Intern CA/ CA Preferable.

Responsibilities:

· Manage day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable.

· Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.

· Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

· Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenditure.

· Process payroll and ensure timely disbursement of salaries.

· Handle tax fillings and assist in tax activities.

· Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends.

· Software's – Tally ERP9, Busy, Xero, QuickBooks, other accounting software.

· Corporate Taxing, Familiar with International Accounting.

· Compose budget forecasts.

· Maintain the privacy of financial information, and when necessary, backup databases.

· Make and evaluate the organization's year-end financial accounts.

· Suggesting financial policies and procedures based on the overall financial status of the organization.

· Auditing financial documents to ensure they are accurate and maintaining the confidentiality of the financial data.

Requirements and skills:

· Decent prior 3-5 experience as an Administrator, Accountant Assistant or relevant role

· Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)

· Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects

· Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills.

· Should have work in a corporate culture.

Location:

At Office, Mohali

Pay: ₹40,000 - ₹60,000.00 per month
