About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Fund Services team as a Sr. Associate – Fund Accounting. The role involves working closely with global Account Managers to ensure accurate NAV calculation and seamless portfolio updates for hedge fund clients using an advanced portfolio accounting platform.

You will be part of a leading global financial institution known for its long-standing excellence, innovation, and commitment to client service. The Fund Services division supports hedge funds, multi-asset investors, family offices, and private equity firms with accounting, valuation, investor reporting, and regulatory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accounting and operational solutions to hedge funds, ensuring independent valuation, investor transparency, and compliance.
  • Calculate and review daily NAVs.
  • Perform reconciliations between internal systems and custodians; identify discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
  • Manage middle-office functions including P&L analysis, cash projections, FX transfers, and processing client contributions/redemptions.
  • Investigate and resolve general ledger exceptions.
  • Analyze large P&L swings and validate income and expense journals.
  • Record accruals for management fees, financing charges, and other non-security-related items.
  • Process non-automated transactions such as OTC derivatives and related cash movements.
  • Conduct daily and monthly securities pricing analysis.
  • Validate and process corporate actions data.
  • Support fund audits and assist with financial statement preparation.
  • Provide assistance with compliance reviews and regulatory reporting.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in fund accounting or financial services.
  • Prior exposure to hedge fund operations is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure, especially during month-end.
  • Experience working in a global, cross-time-zone environment.
  • Proficiency with accounting and financial systems.
