CA + Senior Fund Accountant – Hedge Fund

Fund Accounting & Reporting:

  • Prepare and review NAVs for hedge funds and private equity funds on a periodic basis (monthly/quarterly).
  • Maintain general ledgers, journal entries, and reconciliations for all fund entities.
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with
    IFRS / US GAAP / Ind-AS
    and fund documentation.
  • Ensure accurate calculation of management fees, carried interest, incentive fees, and investor allocations.
  • Oversee consolidation of multiple fund structures, including SPVs and feeder funds.

Valuation & Reconciliation:

  • Liaise with portfolio management teams for valuation of investments (Level 1–3 assets).
  • Reconcile cash, positions, and transactions with custodians, brokers, and administrators.
  • Validate pricing sources and fair value methodologies.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Qualified
    Chartered Accountant (CA)
    with 4–8 years' relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of
    fund structures
    – Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Real Estate.
  • Solid understanding of
    investment accounting principles
    and
    financial instruments
    .
  • Proficiency with
    fund accounting systems
    and
    MS Excel
    .
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
