Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled
Head Chef
to join our team on-site in
Alibaug for Greenlux Resort
. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, creating delectable menus, and ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. You will oversee inventory management, enforce food safety standards, and lead and train kitchen staff. The Head Chef will also collaborate with the management team to enhance guest dining experiences and contribute to the restaurant's overall success. Knowledge of Konkani Cuisine is must.

Qualifications

  • Culinary Skills: Expertise in menu creation, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Management Skills: Experience in kitchen management, staff training, and inventory management.
  • Food Safety: Knowledge and implementation of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Creativity: Ability to innovate and introduce new culinary trends.
  • Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role in a hospitality setting.
  • Culinary Degree: A degree in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred.
