About the Role:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) to join our PET Centres in Delhi NCR and Gwalior. The RSO will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all radiation safety regulations, safeguarding staff, patients, and the environment, and maintaining high standards of safety in nuclear medicine and PET/CT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with AERB (Atomic Energy Regulatory Board) and all statutory radiation safety regulations.

Supervise safe handling, transportation, and disposal of radioactive materials in PET imaging.

Conduct periodic radiation surveys and monitor exposure levels for staff and patients.

Maintain safety records, registers, and documentation in line with regulatory standards.

Provide radiation safety training and guidance to doctors, technologists, and support staff.

Prepare and submit mandatory radiation safety reports to AERB and other authorities.

Act as the primary contact for inspections, audits, and regulatory reviews.

Implement and monitor ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) practices across the centre.

Qualifications & Requirements:

M.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine / Medical Physics / Physics with valid AERB-approved RSO certification.

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a PET Centre / Nuclear Medicine Department.

Thorough understanding of PET/CT technology and radiation protection protocols.

Strong documentation, compliance, and team leadership skills.

Ability to independently manage regulatory compliance and audits.
