Senior Engineer, MS - Data Center Operations (DCO)

Hardware support, datacenter facility management, Data Center Operations

Good knowledge on servers , hardware, environmental(Temp, humidity check) issues into DC, Supporting DCO

Please find the job description for the DCO L2 role :


• Data center support experience of 5 to 8 years


• Experience in Data Centre Environment monitoring – Rack Space, Temperature, Humidity, Cooling etc.,


• Manage & Perform RUN operations for IT infrastructure in DCs viz. servers, storage, etc. by means of monitoring and coordinating for break-fix support


• Experience in Rack space management


• Experience in Cabling / Patching at Rack & Server side (CAT 5 / 6 ++ & Fiber)


• Understanding of Power Cable types and power connectivity requirement


• Experience with ILO / IDRAC configuration & monitoring


• Understanding & experience with advance server support (Commodity Servers)


• Experience in performing preventive maintenance in coordination with OEM


• Experience in material movement within data center for upgrades / repairs


• Experience in racking and stacking of Server, Appliances, Tape Library / Storage


• Experience in Server Upgrades / Installation, RAID configurations, SSD / NVME installations


• Experience in Server troubleshooting & OEM coordination / escalation


• Experience in virtualization technology is desirable.


• Experience in Server status monitoring through tools / physical validation


• Experience Asset tracking and update of inventory
