Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and quality control functions for a high-profile resort construction project in the Maldives. The role ensures that all construction activities meet contractual specifications, international standards, and client expectations, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance

Develop and implement the project's QA/QC plan, procedures, and inspection protocols.

Ensure compliance with international standards (ISO, ASTM, BS, etc.) and client specifications.

  • Quality Control

Supervise site inspections, material testing, and workmanship evaluations.

Monitor subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to quality requirements.

  • Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).

Prepare quality-related reports for senior management and client representatives.

  • Coordination

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and HSE teams to align quality objectives with project milestones.

Liaise with client representatives and consultants on quality matters.

  • Training & Compliance

Conduct training sessions for site staff and subcontractors on QA/QC procedures.

Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement.

  • Problem-Solving

Investigate quality issues, recommend corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution.

Support root cause analysis and preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of QA/QC experience in large-scale construction projects, preferably hospitality or resort developments.
  • Strong knowledge of international quality standards and construction codes.
  • Hands-on experience with material testing, inspection procedures, and quality audits.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in remote island environments and multicultural teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC management software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹180, ₹300,000.00 per month

  • Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
