Job Title: QA/QC Engineer (Civil)

Location: Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh

Experience Required: 8+ years

Job Summary

The QA/QC Engineer (Civil) will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the projects Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems. The candidate will ensure all civil works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, standards, and codes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor QA/QC procedures for all civil construction activities.
  • Review and verify materials, mix designs, and workmanship to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and documentation for all stages of construction (earthwork, concrete, structural, finishing, etc.).
  • Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, test results, and NCR (Non-Conformance Reports).
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project management teams to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Ensure calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
  • Supervise third-party testing and verify test results.
  • Review and approve method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and checklists.
  • Conduct internal quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO, BIS, IRC, and other relevant codes and standards.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years in QA/QC for civil/infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, buildings, or water structures preferred).

  • Technical Skills:

  • Sound knowledge of construction materials, testing procedures, and quality standards.

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.

  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC documentation.

  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and communication abilities.
