Job Summary

The SME – CUET PG Physics will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating high-quality academic materials and questions in Physics suited for CUET PG aspirants. This includes crafting concept notes, problem sets, mock tests, detailed solutions, and strategy guidelines tailored to the CUET PG Physics syllabus and exam pattern.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Research & Curriculum Design
  • Research the CUET PG Physics syllabus and exam trends.
  • Design modules covering core Physics topics (e.g. Mechanics, Electromagnetism, Thermodynamics, Quantum Physics, Optics, Nuclear Physics, etc.).
  • Develop concise formula sheets, conceptual notes, and revision aids.
  • Question Bank & Mock Test Creation
  • Create a bank of Physics questions (multiple difficulty levels) consistent with CUET PG standards.
  • Design full-length and sectional mock tests for Physics domain paper.
  • Monitor and revise existing question banks for clarity, accuracy, balance of difficulty.
  • Solution Writing & Explanations
  • Provide step-by-step, well-explained solutions to every problem.
  • Include alternative solving methods when relevant (conceptual, shortcut, mathematical).
  • Use student-friendly language and logical structure.
  • Performance Analysis & Strategy Input
  • Analyze past CUET PG Physics papers to detect question pattern, weightage, topic trends.
  • Recommend distribution of difficulty and topic weights in future tests.
  • Offer time-management and test-taking strategies specific to Physics section.
  • Quality Assurance & Updates
  • Proofread all content (questions, solutions, notes) to eliminate errors in physics, mathematics, grammar.
  • Ensure alignment with latest CUET PG guidelines (syllabus, marking scheme).
  • Update content based on student feedback, performance data, or syllabus changes.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Educational Background
  • BSc / MSc / PhD in Physics or equivalent.
  • Strong academic record, and preferably good performance in postgraduate-level exams.
  • Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with Word processors, LaTeX or equation editors.
  • Comfort with Excel for data analysis (e.g. tracking error rates, difficulty distributions).
  • Good command of mathematical notations, diagrams, and scientifically precise language.
  • Soft Skills
  • Excellent written communication, clarity, conciseness.
  • Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to explain advanced concepts clearly and break them down for learners.
  • Attention to detail and quality orientation.

Work Schedule & Compensation

  • Hours: ~ 15–25 hours per week (flexible, project-based)
  • Compensation: Fixed per module / per test / per question bank assignment
  • Mode: Fully remote — content submissions via Google Docs, email, or shared platforms

  • Accuracy and relevance of questions & solutions
