• Strong expertise in Linux system configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, SMB, DHCP, NTP, SMTP, SNMP, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM, Xen).
• Proficient in managing and deploying infrastructure on cloud platforms, primarily AWS (experience with Azure is a plus).
• Experience with enterprise storage and backup systems such as HPE 3PAR, Pure Storage, IBM, NetApp, and Veritas NetBackup.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, ELK, and New Relic.
• Proficiency in automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bash, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab, and Git.
• Experience in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Provision, configure, and manage Linux servers in an enterprise and cloud environment.
• Automate routine system administration and deployment tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
• Design and implement IaC solutions for automated provisioning of cloud resources and services.
• Collaborate with application, database, and network teams to ensure system performance, availability, and reliability.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective measures for system and storage incidents.
• Administer enterprise storage systems including provisioning, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and provide support during maintenance windows and incident recovery.
• Ensure security compliance, including patching, system hardening, and configuration management.
• Monitor and optimize cloud usage and costs through automation and right-sizing initiatives.
• Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and service issues across on-premises and multi-cloud environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps, application development, and security teams to support cloud-based solutions.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for systems, configurations, and operational procedures.

Mentor junior team members and assist in knowledge-sharing and process improvement initiatives.
